Parker's fuel line hose includes a thermoplastic barrier that helps protect the atmosphere from harmful hydrocarbons that escape through the carcass of ordinary fuel hose. This hose surpasses all of CARB's stringent permeation requirements and is similar to SAE30R7 specifications. The Super-Flex FL hose also features an abrasion and weather resistant cover to help protect from external application abuse.

Approved for biodiesel fuels that meet ASTM D 6751 requirements per UL guidelines for Biodiesel compatibility.

This material is priced and sold per foot.

What type of fittings / hose ends are used with Parker super-flex 3/8 fuel line?

This is a rubber hose which uses barb type fittings per each application. No special fittings are attached to the hose.

Is the Parker Super-Flex FL Fuel Line hose designed for fuel containing ethanol?

Yes, this hose is approved to be used with ethanol.

Is the hose pn 05-07223 approved?

This product is ASTM approved.

Is this Parker super-flex FL fuel line compatible with AVGAS?

Yes, these hoses are compatible with AVgas.

You can use hose clamps a variety of hose clamps with this hose. For example: 6504, QS100-6W, QS200-06H, snapper clamps 05-00940 or 15-05994.

Yes, the Certificate of Conformance statement is included on the manufacturer's packing slip. It can be furnished with the order as long as it is requested at the time of order. Additional charges may apply.

C of C can be supplied but must be requested at the time of purchase.

What is your basis for saying this hose is not suitable for use on certified aircraft? It appears that is meets the requirements of 14 CFR 21.9 for standard parts. (3) A standard part manufactured in compliance with a government or established industry specification Since this hose is made to a government specification it should be acceptable for installation on certified aircraft. Obviously if the A&P determines suitable to the application.

It does not come with an sort of FAA approvals so we cannot sell it as certified as we do not have documentation. That is not to say that it cannot be legally installed in a certified aircraft, but you would need to consult with your A&P to make that determination.
